I don't know about you, but as far as chalkboards go... been there, done that. We've all seen the vintage frames with chalkboard inside, but I wanted to see what else was out there that people have created with chalkboard paint, fabric and vinyl decals. Here's a little etsy love on chalkboards:

I have a wall painted by the basement door thinking it would be a perfect place to remind my love, so I painted it with the chalkboard and magnetic paint. It doesn't really hold up in the magnetic end. I'm wondering if I need another coat. I might do that again this year.

wow, i'm still impressed with "chalkbard" paint, but that brooch takes the cake. i guess you could write how you feel on it and no one would have to guess!
I love these. I saw someone had a globe that they painted with chalkboard paint - it looked amazing! On it they wrote all their travel dreams.
I really need to invest in some of this paint :) There are too many fun things I could be doing with it!
I just LOVE chalkboard paint... i have one half wall painted in the kids playroom and could probably find about two more walls in the house to do as well. Some day though we'll probably all look at our chalkboard walls and say... oh that was sooo "2000"!
